Civixia was born a genetically mutated Keepers of the Moon Miqo'te.
Her mutations caused her ears to grow different, and had a very fluffy tail. Earning her the nickname "little Fox".Now, its a well known fact that the Seekers of the Sun prefer hunting during the daylight and the warmth of the sun, but little Civixia was... different.
Ever since she was a little kitten, Civixia has always had trouble sleeping at night.
Sat in front of her bedroom windows at night, wrapped in her favourite blanket, she would spend hours staring at the Moon.She would feel like a social pariah, and often spent her days fantasizing about how her life would be different if she was born a Keeper of the Moon.For years she struggled with staying out of trouble, and left her parental home young, to chase adventures in the night.
Until one fateful evening she stumbled upon a nightclub. The pounding bass, and dancing people drew her in, and she fell in love with the scene immediately. She adopted her nickname and officially changed her name to Civixia Fox.Desperate to get a "piece of the action" she worked as many jobs as she could, at all the venues that'd have her. When finally she saved up enough money to open her own venue!Growing up an outcast, she values friendship like no other, and considers her friends and staff as family, loyalty is in her blood, and she'll move mountains to protect her people.But next to the club-life she also enjoys her quiet time, to reflect on things, and to contemplate her next ventures.
And on one very specific night, when she was strolling through the mountains, she saw a feint blueish light shining peaking through the hills.So she did what every sane person would do, and she went to go look for what could cause the glow.
As she kept walking towards the source, the light became stronger, and she could feel her skin started tingling.Eventually she reached an open area, and there it was in all of its glowing glory! a pure manifestation of moon essence.
Carefully she approached the orb mesmerized by its lights, her hand drawn towards the center of the orb.The closer she got, the more her skin started tingling.
Her stomach felt as if she was in a freefall, her eyes started to burn, but she couldn't look away. She booped the center with a finger and then...
A sharp jitter of energy released throughout her entire body! Her skin paled and had gotten a grayish tone, her eyes beamed with energy and glowed yellow.
And her hair blackened, like the dark night surrounding her.To this day she still doesn't know what happened exactly. She's asked scholars, and mages, but no one has seen anything like this before!
There is one thing that she does know for certain! She no longer has to fantasize about how it would be if she was a Keeper of the Moon!
